Job summary

Washington Health Benefit Exchange in Olympia, WA is seeking an Enrollment Support Specialist to manage end-to-end enrollment data, reconcile records, and respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.

You will collaborate with the Enrollment Leadership team, review open enrollment workflows, and ensure accurate processing of Healthplanfinder enrollments and carrier data while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in social services, healthcare, or health insurance settings, assisting clients with complex issues or reconciling data.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for complex or sensitive information.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness and professionalism in interactions with co-workers, carriers and customers.
• Very high attention to detail with ability to document and deliver accurate account work.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse client populations and internal teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Regulatory knowledge of HIPAA and privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate Healthplanfinder support to carriers and customers, including enrollment, eligibility, and reconciliation processes.
• Process daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports to ensure enrollment accuracy.
• Conduct data reconciliation and analysis using Healthplanfinder systems and tools.
• Resolve customer requests and escalations through outreach by phone and email.
• Identify trends in enrollment data indicating larger system issues.
• Support program integrity with account work and customer outreach as needed.
• Maintain confidential client records and required reporting information.
• Participate in carrier relations meetings and respond to escalated issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and Healthplanfinder enhancements.
• Engage in Open Enrollment activities before, during, and after.
