Dalton State College seeks a Transfer Credit and Veterans Affairs Coordinator to support student registration, evaluate transcripts, and manage veterans’ educational benefits. You will certify VA enrollment, maintain articulation agreements, and collaborate across departments to ensure policy compliance and smooth student progression.

The role requires understanding of transfer policies, data management, and strong customer service for military-connected students and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a field related to the occupational area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Veterans Affairs SCO training to interact with veterans enrolling in federal/private aid programs; training provided at hire.
• Two years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage transfer credit evaluation and articulation processes to ensure timely reviews.
• Support veterans’ VA education benefit certification as School Certifying Official (SCO).
• Assist with registrar/Enrollment Services record management and related activities.
• Oversee transfer credit database and reporting within the student information system.
