Responsibilities
- Proactively contact and respond to prospective students via telephone, email, and SMS using a contact strategy.
- Assess and qualify prospective students through pre‑qualification or interview to determine if Chamberlain University’s programs meet their academic and professional needs.
- Assist applicants through the enrollment process by collaborating with other departments to ensure positive application progression, student satisfaction, and success.
- Build rapport and relationships via phone in a high‑volume environment.
- Remain compliant with University standards and policies while operating in a student‑centric environment.
- Adapt quickly to change and implement updates accordingly.
- Work in a team environment and represent Chamberlain’s culture of care while supporting new student enrollment goals.
- Exemplify Covista values (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, Community, Heart) throughout all day‑to‑day interactions.
- For those hired at a specific campus, host campus events for prospective students/applicants, attend local community events, and promote the university.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Has access to designated work‑from‑home office space with reliable high‑speed internet, or if hired for a specific campus, ability to report to the campus 4–5 days a week for a full‑time schedule.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficient computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Eager to learn, retain, and implement new information.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings to accommodate student, departmental, and company needs.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $33.00 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law (experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, responsibility). The position qualifies for the following benefits:
