Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking an Enrollment Processor, Intermediate, to join the Enrollment processing department. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and you will assist with installation of new memberships, processing maintenance requests, and reviewing and processing various reports and ad-hoc requests throughout the year to support initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of additional relevant experience in lieu of a diploma.
• Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Knowledge of medical plans and benefits
• Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures within Enrollment Processing
• Large group, Small group, Commercial, Medi-Cal, CalPERS knowledge preferred
• Facets and Salesforce experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership
• Self-driven and able to operate in the best interests of our clients, our company and team with limited supervision or oversight
• Intermediate-Advanced skills creating documents/files using Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of new memberships and processing maintenance requests.
• Review and process various new and existing reports as well as ad-hoc requests to support initiatives.
• Support Enrollment Processing team and leadership in daily operations.
