UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to assist patients with Medi-Cal enrollment and follow-up care scheduling at a UHC health center. You will deliver courteous service, explain health coverage options, and help patients navigate complex programs.

The role requires bilingual communication, EMR proficiency, and strong knowledge of billing and the revenue cycle. Collaboration with the Enrollment Manager and adherence to HIPAA are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual capability required for patient interactions.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with an electronic medical record system.
• Strong understanding of medical billing and revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of California and Federal payer regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enrollment services to patients.
• Support hospital functions by accurate data entry and intake.
• Assist with enrollment department policy development.
• Ensure compliance with UHC policies and procedures.
• Maintain caseloads and accurate records for reporting.
• Review enrollment docs and follow up as needed.
