Job summary

Casper College seeks an Admissions Representative to serve as a public face of the college, building relationships with prospective students on and off campus and guiding them through the enrollment process from inquiry to registration.

The role involves travel within Wyoming and surrounding states, presenting at high school visits, college fairs, and events, maintaining knowledge of programs, financial aid, housing, and admissions requirements, and collaborating with faculty and Student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution plus 2 years of work experience in recruitment, sales, public relations, education, social work/psychology, or business development.
• Valid motor vehicle license at time of hire and Wyoming driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to speak and field questions in front of groups.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective written and verbal communication across platforms.
• Relate to prospective students from underrepresented populations.
• Work with accuracy, attention to detail, and prioritize assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with prospective students through engagement and follow‑up at each stage of the admissions funnel.
• Travel extensively within Wyoming and surrounding states to high‑school visits and recruitment events.
• Know Casper College programs, admissions requirements, enrollment processes, financial aid, housing, and placement options.
• Recruit via high school visits, on‑campus visits, college fairs, events, and inquiries via phone, text, email and social media.
• Maintain notes and reports on recruitment progress, appointments, event attendance, and data for improvement.
• Support Student Resource teams and assist with front‑desk duties when needed.
• Participate in on‑campus committees, Wyoming Admissions Officers, and community events.
• Serve as a liaison between prospective students and campus staff and faculty.
• Implement inclusive recruitment practices to meet diverse student needs.
