Job summary

Midwestern University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process and represent MWU at recruitment events. This role reports to the Director of Admissions and collaborates with the Associate Director to drive enrollment goals and ensure compliant, inclusive experiences.

The position requires in-person attendance with some evenings and weekends during peak cycles, and travel approximately 15% regionally or nationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise prospective students on programs and requirements.
• Lead campus tours and info sessions (in-person and virtual).
• Respond to inquiries and maintain CRM notes.
• Attend recruitment events (~15% travel) and represent MWU at fairs and conferences.
• Coordinate interview and admit days; manage communications and logistics.
