Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in marketing, sales, public relations, higher education, or student services.
• Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel evenings and weekends as needed.
• Working knowledge of computer applications and admissions systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with the public and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet enrollment goals for a defined travel territory.
• Represent CMU at statewide and national recruiting events.
• Coordinate campus recruitment programs for freshmen and transfer students.
• Arrange on-site visits and campus tours with high schools and community colleges.
• Assist colleges with admissions presentations and tours of campus.
• Engage in recruitment campaigns via email and social media.
• Review undergraduate applications and determine admissions decisions.
• Plan receptions for prospective students and their guests.
• Provide information on academic programs, housing, financial aid, and transfer credit evaluation.
• Collaborate with alumni to promote Central Michigan University.
