Job summary
Truckee Meadows Community College is seeking a College Recruitment Coordinator to lead outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and transition support for prospective and new students across Nevada. The role includes travel to rural communities, additional evening/weekend work, and coordination of recruitment events.
You will guide students through application steps, financial aid, and course selection while building strong community partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Experience in student recruitment, advising, or enrollment support in a college setting.
- Public speaking experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective students and cohorts through outreach and events.
- Explain TMCC programs, admission requirements, enrollment steps, and financial aid resources.
- Support Nevada Promise Scholarship outreach and communications.
- Provide hands-on application and registration assistance.
- Assist new first-time college students with course selection and enrollment.
- Maintain ongoing communication with students from inquiry to enrollment and transition.
