WGU in the United States is expanding access to higher education through online, competency-based programs and is hiring Enrollment Counselors across all U.S. time zones. Expect a schedule within 8 a.m.

to 7 p.m. local time, and the chance to guide prospective students through enrollment with empathy and clear guidance. You will support students using AI tools and personalized coaching, build strong relationships, and help learners match programs to their goals while maintaining accurate CRM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of customer service or consultative sales experience.
• Ability to multitask across calls, chat, text, IM, email and software.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students through enrollment with empathy and personalized support.
• Support students using AI agents and self-service tools with human guidance as needed.
• Build relationships through active listening and encouragement.
• Explain programs, steps, and requirements in clear, everyday language.
• Help students set realistic expectations about the WGU experience and culture.
• Match academic and career goals to the right program with students.
• Maintain accurate records across systems, including CRM.
• Follow standards and policies; escalate when appropriate.
