Job summary

HHM Health in Dallas is hiring an Enrollment Coordinator/Front Office Assistant Float to be the first point of contact for patients and families, delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. You will handle patient enrollments and front desk duties, while determining eligibility for benefits.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, at least 1 year of related experience (community clinics preferred), experience with Medicaid enrollment, and proficiency in eClinicalWorks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience; community clinic experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid enrollment.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or other languages preferred.
• Service-oriented with a servant-heart attitude.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new and established patients in all locations and specialties.
• Schedule new patient appointments and interview applicants or authorized representatives to gather information and determine eligibility for benefits.
• Obtain, verify, and calculate income and resources to determine patients' financial eligibility.
• Explain available benefit programs and patients' rights and responsibilities.
• Work with a diverse patient population in the heart of Dallas.
• Obtain and scan demographic, financial information and missing documents for registration and program eligibility.
• Explain and verify patients' sliding fee discounts according to clinic protocol.
• Verify insurance eligibility during enrollment or prior to appointments.
• Travel to other locations in the DFW Metroplex, as needed for coverage.

We are seeking a Enrollment Coordinator/Front Office Assistant Float with a passion for service excellence to join the HHM Health team. The Enrollment Coordinator/Front Office Assistant Float serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment. This role handles patient enrollments while staying up to date with front desk responsibilities.

Here's a Sneak Peek At What You'll Do

• Schedule new and established patients in all locations and specialties
• Schedule new patient appointments and interviews applicants or authorized representative to gather information while determining eligibility for benefits.
• Obtain, verify, and calculate income and resources to determine patients financial eligibility.
• Explain available benefit programs, rights and responsibilities and other agency services to applicants/recipients and general public.
• Work with a diverse patient population in the heart of Dallas
• Obtain and scan all necessary demographic, financial information, missing registration items, consents and other missing documents required for registration and to properly determine potential program eligibility.
• Explain and verify patients' sliding fee discounts according to clinic protocol.
• Verify insurance eligibility during enrollment process or prior to patients' appointment
• Travel to other locations in the DFW Metroplex, as needed for coverage needs.

What You Need To Succeed

To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year of related experience, prior experience in a community-based clinic is preferred.
• Prior experience with medical enrollment including Medicaid.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office Suite skills
• Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or any other languages, preferred.
• Passion for providing service excellence
• Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
