Job summary

HHM Health in Mesquite, TX is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing, enrollment, and contracting activities. This entry‑level role partners with the Senior Credentialing Specialist to manage multiple payer types and service lines while maintaining accurate provider records.

You will gain exposure to CAQH submissions, payer portals, and workflow improvements, with a path to grow in credentialing and healthcare administration within a compassionate,

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of credentialing or healthcare administration experience
• Basic understanding of credentialing and enrollment processes
• Familiarity with CAQH and payer portals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, eCW, and Texas Medicaid/MCOs
• Credentialing certification (or in progress)
• Excellent engagement and communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial credentialing and re-credentialing across all payer types
• Gather and verify licenses, DEA, board certifications, and malpractice documents
• Submit applications via CAQH and payer portals
• Track status and follow up with payers
• Support provider enrollment with TMHP, Medicaid MCOs, Medicare, and Commercial plans
• Maintain provider records across systems (eCW, CAQH, payer portals)
• Monitor expirations and assist with renewals
• Maintain trackers and provide status updates
• Coordinate with HR, billing and operations teams
• Support workflow improvements and special projects
