L’Étoile French Immersion School in Portland, OR seeks an Admissions and Community Engagement Coordinator to guide families through admissions, enrollment, and onboarding, while supporting communications, events, and parent involvement.

The ideal candidate builds strong relationships, communicates clearly, and stays organized to help grow enrollment and foster a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

• Experience in admissions, enrollment, marketing, communications, event planning, customer service, education, or community engagement.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Initiative, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions process.
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely, personalized follow-up.
• Lead engaging school tours that communicate L’Étoile’s mission, programs, and community.
• Guide families through application, enrollment, and new-family onboarding.
• Maintain accurate admissions records, enrollment data, and prospective-family communications.
• Coordinate open houses, family celebrations, and other community events.
• Support parent volunteers and the school’s Parent Committee.
• Manage social media content and help showcase student life and the L’Étoile community.
• Create clear, engaging communications for current and prospective families.
