Job summary

Primrose School of Silicon Forest in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator to serve as the school’s face in the local community, building relationships with local businesses, employers, and family organizations to generate tours and enrollments.

This part-time role features a 90-day pilot, event planning, referral campaigns, and social content creation, with on-site duties and a focus on building authentic community connections.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in community outreach, marketing, enrollment, or relationship-based sales.
• Experience building referral partnerships and networking with local businesses and organizations.
• Experience creating social media content and supporting events; valid driver’s license and background check for child care staff in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Represent Primrose School of Silicon Forest in Hillsboro through regular visits to local businesses and community groups.
• Develop and maintain referral partnerships serving young families with pediatric or family services and community groups.
• Connect with Hillsboro employers to present the school as a quality early education option.
• Attend and staff community events, fairs, and family gatherings; gather qualified contacts from each event.
• Plan and support school and community events, including open houses, to bring prospective families on campus.
• Support enrollment by timely follow-up on inquiries and scheduling tours with the School Director.
• Create authentic social media content showing daily life, events, and community involvement following brand standards.
• Strengthen engagement with current families through events and communications to build loyalty.
• Track outreach activity, partnerships, leads, tours, and enrollments to measure pilot results.
• Collaborate with the School Director on weekly priorities and the outreach calendar.
