Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year relevant experience in recruitment/advising.
• Knowledge of student characteristics and campus programs.
• Familiarity with Meta Majors, Dual Credit, Continuing Education, and Adult Basic Education.
• Proficient PC skills and software knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork across college units.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage schedules, work independently, and handle high-stress periods.
• Ability to maintain relationships with staff, faculty, and the public.
• Experience with online student records systems (Colleague, Navigate).
• Ability to interpret transcripts and test scores for placement.
• Ability to multi-task under peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Advise students from connection to entry and guide career/pathway exploration.
• Represent College in recruitment and community outreach and activities.
• Introduce college programs including degrees, certificates, and dual credit.
• Provide enrollment coaching for admissions, financial aid, and scholarships.
• Compile and analyze data to inform enrollment strategy.
• Support daily operational duties and enrollment initiatives.
• Lead special projects in support of student success.
• Provide outreach and onboarding services including financial aid guidance.
• Communicate with students, partners, and stakeholders by various channels.
• Evaluate transcripts and test scores; proctor exams.
• Serve as liaison between students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
• Supervise work-study students and train new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
