Job summary

Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services in Honolulu seeks a temporary Enrollment Specialist to support patients enrolling in TANF, Housing, SNAP, Medicaid/QUEST, Long-Term Care, Medicare, and Federal Exchange. You will provide accurate information and follow-up to ensure smooth enrollment processes.

We value multicultural and multilingual candidates with a strong commitment to serving Kalihi's diverse community; salary depends on relevant experience, with a 40-hour workweek and weekday

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, required.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy, required.
• Ability to work with a multi-cultural staff and client population, required.
• High school graduate, required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, competent enrollment assistance, and follow-up assistance for patients enrolling in TANF, Subsidized Housing, SNAP, Medicaid/QUEST for all ages, Long-Term Care for ABD, Medicare, and Federal Exchange.
• Special consideration given to multicultural/multilingual candidates and those with a connection to the ahupuaʻa of Kalihi.
