Job summary

Rollins College is seeking an Admission Counselor to support the recruitment and admission process for prospective students in the Winter Park area. You will meet with students, parents, and guidance counselors, conduct information sessions, and assist with the admissions funnel from inquiry to decision.

You will travel to recruit, host on-campus events, review applications, and communicate via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of one year of higher education and/or admission experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license, or ability to obtain a Florida driver's license within 30 days of accepting the job, and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct large and small group information sessions for prospective students and parents.
• Communicate with prospective students, parents and guidance counselors by phone and email to guide them through the admission process.
• Review and evaluate applications and participate in candidate selection for admission.
• Travel to designated territories to recruit prospective students through college fairs and high school visits.
