Job summary

Indian River State College (IRSC) seeks an Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process and assist them in choosing a major. You will manage a caseload, travel within the territory, and partner with campus teams to promote enrollment across the Treasure Coast campuses in Florida.

The role requires strong communication and advising skills, CRM/SIS proficiency, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or an associate degree with four years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in student recruitment, enrollment, or retention in a post-secondary setting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit territory-based recruitment through high school visits, college fairs, and campus events.
• Interview with new students, advise on careers and admissions, review applications and assist with admissions process.
• Use CRM/SIS systems to track and communicate with prospective students.
