Qualifications

• A combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school; some experience working with children; education or experience in the particular field of enrichment.
• Knowledge of general classroom procedures, practices and equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, and administration both orally and in writing.
• Must have a valid California driver's license and the ability to meet proficiency requirements including Mandatory Reporting and TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate educational enrichment opportunities; assemble, distribute, collect, and maintain instructional materials.
• Instruct students and modify activities as needed; model professional behavior with all stakeholders.
• Follow site-specific weekly schedule and be prepared with materials for daily lessons.
• Participate in Expanded Learning Program staff development; may drive passenger vans as needed.
