Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Instructional Assistant Proficiency Examination or hold appropriate certification.
• Knowledge of classroom procedures, student needs, and use of instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs in learning or using instructional materials.
• Support social development and behavior modification for students.
• Maintain and prepare records for special education programs.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instructional support.
• Supervise students during activities and assist with mobility and daily living tasks.
