Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Manchester Township, NJ. This role offers fixed shifts with an opportunity to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, within a flexible part-time schedule.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour, with duties including customer service, unarmed patrols, and documenting activities. The position requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and agency representatives by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of landfill access points, roads, operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials and authorization as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency services when directed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
