Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Manchester Township, NJ. The role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts and earn more.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour; schedule includes Fri 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, HS diploma or equivalent, and be prepared for background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Site has limited on-site facilities (portable toilets, rustic guard shacks).
Guard card or license preferred.
Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a government waste management location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access and verify authorized entry, documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional problem-solving and notify appropriate contacts.
Prepare daily activity and incident reports in line with procedures.
