Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Identification in Newark, DE. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $19.57/hour with a schedule of daytime shifts. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident response, and reporting observations to leadership while maintaining top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Background history considered under applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and professionally per emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor/delivery authorization per site procedures.
• Document observations and communicate findings to site leadership and responders.
