Job summary

Sunshine Health Facilities is seeking an on-call Nursing Assistant to assist with medication administration, resident care, and charting in our Assisted Living Facility. You will follow care plans, provide warm, compassionate care, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications include a WA Nursing Assistant certification or Home Care Aide license and CPR (on hire). Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered, with a 12% on-call differential and various employee

Qualifications

• Active Washington Nursing Assistant certification or Home Care Aide license is required.
• CPR certification is required or can be obtained on hire.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications during shift.
• Provide basic resident care and follow care plans.
• Maintain accurate charts and ensure resident safety and dignity.
• Follow universal precautions and nursing delegation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisted administration of all prescribed medication during shift.
• Responsible for all as needed medications and follow up in one hour.
• Follow care plan as to how medications are to be given.
• Follow medication delegation guidelines as received by nurse delegator as needed.
• Assisting residents with basic needs
• Keep accurate charts
• Provide warm, compassionate and friendly care to residents while ensuring a safe and calm environment
• Assure client dignity, rights and safety
• Follow guidelines for universal precautions and procedures

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Certificates and Licenses)

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Active Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification or Home Care Aide License
• CPR (can get on hire)
