Job summary

Sunshine Health Facilities in Spokane Valley, WA seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, assist with medications, and follow care plans. The role supports comprehensive health services across long‑term and acute care settings, with shift rotation of 4 on/2 off and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualified candidates hold a WA Nursing Assistant Certification or Home Care Aide license, CPR, and diabetes/medication delegation credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification or Home Care Aide license.
• Valid CPR card.
• Medication and diabetes nurse delegation certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and nursing service policies.
• Assist in administration of prescribed medications during shift.
• Manage all as needed medications and follow up within one hour.
• Follow care plans for medication administration.
• Follow medication delegation guidelines as provided by nurse delegator.
• Identify resident problems and report to the nurse immediately.
• Provide direct resident care and complete assignments accurately and timely.
• Document all medications and concerns for residents under care.
• Review care plan daily and perform nursing assistant tasks as outlined.
• Receive all medications in PCC as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
