Job summary

Sunshine Health Facilities, located in Spokane Valley, WA, seeks a CNA/NAC to provide warm, compassionate care to residents and support daily living activities. You will follow individualized care plans, document changes, and uphold dignity and safety in a calm environment.

Certification in NAC Washington and CPR are required; a high school diploma or GED is expected, with completion of WA state-approved CNA training.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) in Washington
• Current CPR certification (facility can provide)
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Successful completion of a Washington state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, compassionate and friendly care to residents while ensuring a safe and calm environment
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Follow individualized plan of care for residents
• Document and communicate care and changes accurately and in a timely manner
• Assure client dignity, rights and safety
• Follow guidelines for universal precautions and procedures
