Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools are seeking an English Learner (EL) Teacher to provide instructional leadership under supervision, develop lesson plans, and oversee EL programs including LIEP for identified EL students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC teaching certification or eligible for NC certification.
• Experience with EL programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement an EL program of study that meets the needs of assigned students.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and needs.
