Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional work experience in student services or related field.
• Experience leading or directing the work of others.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Year-for-year substitution allowed for educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the VCEA Tutoring Center and oversee the college’s peer mentoring program.
• Hires, trains, and supervises undergraduate tutors and peer mentors.
• Partner with faculty to align tutoring and mentoring with curriculum.
• Lead data-informed retention efforts and present findings to leadership.
