Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; 4 additional years of related experience may substitute.
• Working knowledge of Corporate and Engineering processes, policies, and practices.
• Professional administrative experience with increased responsibility.
• Experience developing reports using Excel.
• Analytical, self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in multi-union labor environments and process improvement is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all Engineering Department training activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, state, and federal regulations (FRA, GOER).
• Coordinate safety-related initiatives and emergency response support.
• Book lodging and coordinate CAP logistics during emergencies.
• Develop training databases for scheduling and tracking mandated training.
• Provide coaching and career development for staff.
