Job summary

Cornelis Networks seeks an Engineering Tools Administrator to manage developer tools and lab systems for our software engineering organization. You will administer GitHub, Jira/Confluence, and AWS infrastructure, plus remote system admin for lab and test machines.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and able to balance multiple requests across teams, while escalating high-risk changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the GitHub Organization: configure permissions, branch protection, templates, and integrations.
• Administer Jira and Confluence: projects, workflows, fields, screens, automation, and reporting.
• Manage SSH and user access; coordinate with IT and engineering for lab access.
• Administer AWS infrastructure: IAM, EC2, S3, VPC considerations; cost and usage review.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering Management, and DevOps on governance and changes.
• Provide frontline developer support and documentation for GitHub, Jira, AWS, and lab systems.
