Job summary

Hearth & Home Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician in Lake City, MN to prototype and test units to ANSI standards and to develop tooling that supports new product development. You will lead small changes to improve products while collaborating with a team to meet timelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience. Manufacturing equipment operation experience is preferred and benefits are provided in addition to salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to prototype and test units to ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping units and testing product to the appropriate ANSI Standard.
• Developing processes, fabricating carts, jigs, fixtures, and production aids for New Product Development and cost-saving projects.
• Lead small, incremental product and process changes to improve consumer products and internal processes.
• Work collaboratively with a team environment to solve problems and meet timelines.
• Demonstrate accuracy in test setup and data collection.
