Job summary

Signicast is seeking an Engineering Technician to assist in plant processes, part development projects, and process improvement initiatives under the direction of the Engineering Manager. You will work with Manufacturing, Process, and Product Engineers to support documentation and continuous improvement efforts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and ability to learn new skills.
• 1-2 years of training and 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints, interpret shop orders, and write basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and plant leadership with process improvements and part development projects.
• Input routings and create/edit operating procedures and workplace practices.
• Support manufacturing in SOP and work instruction improvements and scrap/problem solving.
