Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Tualatin, OR.

In this hands-on role, you will partner with Engineering and Operations to improve manufacturing processes, develop work instructions and fixtures, troubleshoot production issues, and support the introduction of new products. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field with 2+ years of manufacturing/engineering technician experience.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, specs, and work instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience operating manufacturing, test, or diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain technical work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
Support introduction and release of new products into manufacturing.
Design, build, and improve manufacturing fixtures and jigs.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
Operate manufacturing, test, development, and diagnostic equipment.
Review production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Read and interpret drawings and other documentation.
Identify deviations impacting quality, productivity, or delivery.
