Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking a production/quality-focused technician to support test setup, conduct diverse tests on our product lines, and prepare concise test reports. You will be responsible for maintaining fixtures, wiring and basic electronics understanding, while following all safety procedures.
The role requires the ability to stand 6–8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds, with 0–2 years of related experience and a high school diploma. Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
Assist in s etup and maintain ing test fixtures and equipment as required
Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed.
Perform diverse tests on the Company’s line of product s and competitor products.
Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures.
Prepare simple reports of test results and make recommendations.
Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, and spreadsheet .
Basic electronics understanding preferred - AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers
Ability to complete basic wiring and soldering of components preferred.
Understand ing of common machine component applications and assembl ies .
Must follow all safety protocols as prescribed.
Must able to stand for 6 to 8 hour and lift 50 pounds.
Other duties as assigned.
0 to 2 years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles or an applicable trade .
Knowledge of basic test concepts in the design and development of products and components.
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid drivers license
