Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a capable entry-level tester to assist in setup and maintenance of fixtures, run tests on company and competitor products, and document results. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and willingness to lift up to 50 pounds in a production or lab setting.

Applicants should have basic electronics and machining skills, high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Some wiring/soldering skills are preferred, and familiarity with basic PC tools is helpful.

Job Description:Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in s etup and maintain ing test fixtures and equipment as requiredExercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed.Perform diverse tests on the Company’s line of product s and competitor products.Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures.Prepare simple reports of test results and make recommendations.Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, and spreadsheet .Basic machining skills prefer r edBasic electronics understanding preferred – AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllersAbility to complete basic wiring and soldering of components preferred.Understand ing of common machine component applications and assembl ies .Must follow all safety protocols as prescribed.Must able to stand for 6 to 8 hour and lift 50 pounds.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements0 to 2 years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles or an applicable trade .Knowledge of basic test concepts in the design and development of products and components.High school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid drivers licenseMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
