Primary Purpose

Under supervision of a project engineering team member, the Engineering Technician assists in process or product documentation and experimentation across project, process, and manufacturing departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams and assist on projects as necessary.
• Follow all safety rules and work practices.
• Create part-specific technique cards to meet specifications.
• Use CAD software for images and data extraction from models.
• Design tools, inspection, and manufacturing aids using additive manufacturing (3D printing).
• Participate in improvement teams.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring tests, data analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and customers to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a "US Person" per ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Active student pursuing an accredited engineering or science degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with various teams and customers.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with statistical analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Willing to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Work Conditions

• Office within manufacturing facility.
• Sitting for long periods, lifting up to 10 lbs, extended computer use.

Schedule

• Day shift, in-person.
• Flexible schedule with potential overtime.
