Primary Purpose

Under supervision from the project engineering department, the Engineering Technician assists in process or product documentation and experimentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams and assist on projects.
• Follow all safety rules and safe work practices.
• Create part-specific technique cards to meet specifications.
• Use CAD software for work instructions and data extraction.
• Design tools, inspection, and manufacturing aids, including additive manufacturing (3D printing).
• Participate in improvement teams.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring tests, data analysis, and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and customers to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a "US Person" as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Active student pursuing an accredited engineering or science degree.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with statistical tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Willing to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Work Conditions

• Office within manufacturing facility.
• Physical demands include sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs, and extended computer use.

Schedule

• Day shift, in-person.
• Flexible schedule with overtime as needed.
