Primary Purpose

Under the supervision of a project engineering department member, the Engineering Technician assists in process or product documentation and experimentation across project engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support engineering teams and assist on projects as necessary.
2. Follow all safety rules and safe work practices.
3. Create part-specific technique cards to meet customer, industry, and company requirements.
4. Use CAD software to produce images for work instructions and extract data from customer models.
5. Design tools, inspection, and manufacturing aids using additive manufacturing (3D printing).
6. Participate in improvement teams.
7. Assist Project and Process Engineers in implementing and monitoring tests, analyzing data, and documenting First Article inspections.
8. Collaborate with operations, quality, and customers to resolve production issues.
9. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

1. Must be a "US Person" as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations.
2. Active student pursuing an accredited engineering or science degree.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work well with production staff, supervisors, managers, and customers.
5. Strong math skills and proficiency with statistical analysis tools.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
7. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
8. Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Work Conditions

• Work is performed in an office within a manufacturing facility.
• Physical demands include sitting for long periods, lifting up to 10 lbs, and extended computer use.

• Day shift, in-person.
