Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for an Engineering Technician IV in Houston, TX. This role involves performing non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity, often requiring independent planning and technical advice from supervisors or engineers. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy.

This position may be assisted by lower-level technicians and involves frequent contact with professionals and others within the organization. Responsibilities include:

1. Developing or reviewing designs by analyzing engineering data, creating schematics, designs, specifications, electrical drawings, and parts lists, including circuit diagrams, hardware fittings, test equipment, piping systems, and site layouts.
2. Conducting tests or experiments with critical equipment, recording data, analyzing problems, and preparing reports.
3. Applying research methods to segments of development projects, constructing prototypes, conducting redesign tests, and evaluating data.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with Algebra and Geometry
• 7 - 9 years of relevant experience

Requirements:

• Must be within driving distance of Houston, TX OR willing to relocate
• Willing to work onsite
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contract
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests as per contract
• Public Trust Clearance
