Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician III-V provides hands-on technical and operational support for Reciprocating Compression equipment during various phases such as commissioning, start-up, operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a Technical SME in all technical areas of customer support, providing services in workshops, compressor stations, and process plants.
2. Perform diagnostics, interpret data, and present findings professionally.
3. Lead startup and commissioning tasks, and support all levels of technicians, including advanced specialists and commissioning experts.
4. Travel extensively (200-300 days/year), work extended hours, and operate in various outdoor conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression.
2. Technical education such as an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
3. Strong attributes including safety focus, dependability, communication skills, and ability to multitask.
4. Advanced knowledge of engine and compressor theory, OEM standards, and product documentation.
5. Proficiency in computer skills (Word & Excel), and mastery of product documentation.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with various engine and compressor brands (e.g., Cooper Bessemer, Ajax, Waukesha).
• Leadership skills and mastery in engine balancing and alignment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
