Job summary

Olivenhain Municipal Water District seeks an Engineering Technician II/III to support planning, development and coordination of CIP and developer projects. You will coordinate with developers, consultants and contractors to advance design and construction while maintaining GIS data and preparing easement documents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with CAD/GIS familiarity and, for Level II/III, a civil engineering background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CA driver’s license and insurance proof required.
• Standard First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred for Level I, II, and III.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, and coordination of CIP and developer projects.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, and contractors.
• Maintain GIS data updates and CAD drawings.
• Prepare easement documents and coordinate right-of-way.
• Support district safety programs and budget adherence.
