Job summary

North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking an Engineering Technician I in Division 8 to assist engineers with construction inspection, surveying, materials testing, erosion control, and traffic control in field environments. • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control.
• Perform calculations and data processing for field data.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Work under limited supervision and within environmental conditions.
