Job summary

Eaton’s PDCA Power Distribution Control Assembly division in El Paso is seeking an Engineering Technician - 1st shift. You will assist production, interpret drawings and BOMs, and ensure assemblies meet specifications.

The role requires CAD proficiency, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Minimum education is High School/GED; 1 year manufacturing experience or a technical degree is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 1 year manufacturing experience OR a technical discipline degree.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand CAD/drafting principles.
• No relocation; candidate must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 3-D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and other software.
• Ensure products/assemblies meet specifications and parts drawings.
• Review Bills of Materials and manufacturing documentation for accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and changes.
• Maintain compliance with plant Quality Standards and change management.
