Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in El Paso is seeking an Engineering Technician on 1st Shift. The role supports production by analyzing drawings, models, and BOMs to ensure assemblies meet specifications.

The candidate will use CAD tools to interpret parts and subassemblies and work with teams to maintain quality standards. The position requires basic engineering knowledge, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with CAD software.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical and schematics).
• Experience with electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Examine 3-D models and drawings to assist during manufacturing.
• Ensure designs meet specifications per part drawings/models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product/assembly readiness.
