Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering Technician team member to support engineers, manage technical data, and produce comprehensive engineering documentation. You will perform calculations, analyze data, and create diagrams to assist evaluations and design changes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree in related discipline with 1 year DoD/USN experience

Requirements

• Engineering Technician 2: Associate degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and 3 years of related DoD/USN experience
• Engineering Technician 3: Associate degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline and 3 years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and 5 years of related DoD/USN experience
• Engineering Technician 4: Associate degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline and 6 years of related experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and 8 years of related experience
• Confidential Security Clearance
• Experience with Navy Work Authorization Forms and Tag Outs using eSOMS
• Ability to work in a shipboard environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment
• Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
