Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineer to apply electrical and electronic theory as part of a dedicated engineering team. You will build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controllers, and machinery while supporting design decisions through rigorous evaluation of equipment.

The role involves operating integrated computer/communication systems and testing consoles, simulators, and data acquisition systems, with ongoing support to test equipment and accuracy

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience with electrical theory, circuitry, and systems integration.

• Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge as part of an engineering staff
• Work with engineering staff to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
• Support engineering staff in evaluating equipment and making engineering design decisions
• Operate and install integrated computer/communication systems
• Test and understand consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
• Provide support for test equipment and systems requested by engineering staff
• Use test equipment to measure equipment effectiveness and accuracy

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
• Properly operate and install integrated computer/communication systems
• Ability to test and understand the operations of consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
• Support appropriate types of test equipment and systems
