Avon Protection in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift to support manufacturing engineering changes and daily production needs. You will follow prints and work instructions, log data, and assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operations, maintaining 5S and proper documentation throughout.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Fluently read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hands-on assembly, build, test, repair, and data collection to support engineering changes and production issues.
• Assemble prototypes, fixtures, tooling, and test setups per prints; support first article inspections and line trials.
• Make dimensional checks, basic metrology, and log yield, cycle time, and defects for data-driven decisions.
• Conduct preventive and minor corrective maintenance on fixtures, tools, and test equipment to sustain process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and process issues on the shop floor and escalate with clear data.
