Job summary

Americhem in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift to repair, maintain, and inspect machinery and production equipment per diagrams and manuals. You will use hand and power tools, read schematics, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a relevant Bachelor’s is a plus, and 3–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree of relevance is a plus.
• Experience: 3-4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing with mechanical, electrical and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment per diagrams and manuals.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs to production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders for service.
• Record data and hours on service orders and maintain high quality standards.
