Job summary

Avtron Power Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Safety Technician on 2nd shift to support EHS programs across Cleveland facilities. You will help maintain a safe, compliant work environment and contribute to training initiatives.

You will assist in safety inspections, incident investigations, and safety training development, including the Allen Facility Safety Dojo. This role requires collaboration with Operations, Facilities, and Leadership to drive safety improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety standards.
• Experience supporting employee training, onboarding, instructional activities, or safety education programs preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and facilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting/documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily execution of EHS programs, policies, procedures and initiatives across Cleveland facilities.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and compliance gaps.
• Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, near misses and safety concerns, including documentation and corrective actions.
• Monitor and help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety standards.
• Support safety metrics tracking, reporting and trending to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in maintaining required safety documentation, records, permits and compliance files.
• Lead and support safety training activities and the Allen Facility Safety Dojo program.
