Job summary
Timken is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to support product, process, tooling, and methods activities on the 2nd shift in Rutherfordton, NC. You will work with the engineering team to set process parameters and analyze data to drive improvements.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Eligible to work in the US and 18+.
- Experience in production planning, lean manufacturing, grinding or assembly.
Responsibilities
- Establish process parameters with engineering team.
- Conduct trials and evaluate abrasives, tooling, EGCs.
- Collect, analyze, and present process data.
- Own NPI tooling process for rings and procure prototype tooling.
- Support tooling/fixturing development for NPI and continuous improvement.
- Maintain setup documentation and change management.
